The transmitter sends a radio signal through the buried boundary wire surrounding your yard. When your pet approaches the boundary, the receiver collar emits a warning tone. If your pet continues into the correction zone, the collar provides a safe, adjustable static correction designed to encourage your pet to return to the approved area. With proper training, most pets quickly learn their new boundaries.
The included 500 feet of boundary wire and 50 training flags provide enough material to contain one pet in an area of approximately 1/3 acre.
